About the Scholarship/Programme

The Mundus MAPP – Erasmus Mundus Master’s Program in Public Policy is a two-year international joint Master’s programme delivered by four European universities: Central European University Private University (Austria), International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (Spain), and the University of York (UK).

The programme focuses on European and international public policy and combines academic study with international mobility. Students must complete study periods in two different countries, with each period carrying at least 30 ECTS.

Scholarship Benefits

The main Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scholarship is highly competitive and is awarded to a limited number of the highest-ranked applicants.

For the 2027–2029 cohort, the EMJM scholarship provides:

• Up to €33,600 over 24 months, calculated at €1,400 per month.
• Full tuition-fee waiver.
• Financial contribution toward travel, visa, installation, subsistence and other eligible costs.
• Additional financial support may be available for students with individual disability-related needs.

The programme also offers one Institutional Scholarship per study track, providing a 50% tuition-fee waiver at the Year 1 and Year 2 institutions. This scholarship does not include a stipend.

Who Can Apply?

Mundus MAPP accepts applicants from both EU and non-EU countries.
