About the Fellowship

The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to evidence-based research and knowledge mobilization activities related to migration and labour market integration in Canada.

The position supports multiple research projects examining labour migration, employment integration, international students, temporary migration, employer engagement and related policy issues.

The fellow will collaborate with researchers, graduate students, community organizations, employers and government stakeholders while contributing to the expansion of the Global Migration Institute’s research programmes.

Key Responsibilities

According to the official job description, the successful candidate will:

• Conduct qualitative research, including literature reviews, interviews and focus groups
• Manage and analyse qualitative data using software such as NVivo
• Prepare research reports, policy briefs and academic publications

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Demonstrate expertise in qualitative research methods
• Have experience conducting interviews, focus groups and qualitative data analysis
• Possess excellent academic writing and communication skills
• Be able to work collaboratively with academic and community partners.
